Ground beef - Put 1 lb in a freezer bag and smash flat to freeze. It's easier to defrost this way! Be sure to date it!
Chicken - To freeze breast pieces, spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Lay peices out so they don't touch and put in the freezer until hard. Transfer to a freezer bag. Now you can pull out just the ones you need without defrosting the whole thing! - Cut up into strips or nuggets and lay flat to freeze. - Add your favorite marinade to the bag and freeze. As you chicken defrosts, it will be marinating!
